Program Offerings:

Industrial Hygiene Services

1 Source has a joint venture partnership with Pekron Consulting Corporation to determine your company’s current Hygiene compliance status. Pekron has been providing exceptional Industrial Hygiene Services since 1986. Services include the following:

  • Indoor Air Quality
  • Air monitoring for routing/traditional gases and vapors
  • Ionizing and non-ionizing radiation
  • Noise level monitoring and hearing conservation programs
  • Control of welding fumes and metals
  • Evaluation of non-traditional contaminants
  • Illumination
  • Air monitoring for dusts
  • Bioaerosols
  • Dust
  • Heat Stress
  • Health effects evaluations

OSHA Gap Analysis

Through our partnership with Pekron, we can evaluate a client’s current level of OSHA compliance, by performing a Gap Analysis at their location, facility, or job site. The Gap Analysis is specifically designed to identify non-compliance issues and provide feasible, cost effective recommendations and corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence. The Pekron safety professional will actively engage management, employees and on-site EH&S in the process and use it as an opportunity to provide technical insight and training into regulatory compliance and industry “best practices.”

Accident / Incident Investigation

Through this management tool we systematically study accidents and injuries so their causes and contributing factors can be identified and eliminated. 1 Source develops a program specific to your company’s environment and needs.

FMLA Management

Employers who qualify, must adhere to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). The FMLA provides certain employees up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave per year. It also requires that their health benefits be maintained during their leave.

Employers are faced with the difficult challenge to both evaluate if an employee meets the medical qualifications to be eligible for FMLA and then determine if the medical condition(s) / plan of care provided by their treating physician will impact that employee’s ability to safely perform the essential functions of their job. 1 Source’s tiered FMLA Program is a two (2) tiered process designed to evaluate both of these aspects on behalf of our client companies.

Tier 1:

1 Source’s clinical department will review the FMLA documentation completed by the employee’s treating clinician. Based on the evaluation, 1 Source will determine if the employee meets the guidelines set forth by FMLA.

Tier 2:

1 Source’s clinical department will review the FMLA documentation completed by the employee’s treating clinician. Based on the evaluation, 1 Source will provide a medical opinion/recommendation if the employee has the ability to safely perform the essential functions of their job duties. If they do not, 1 Source will itemize accommodations that the employer will need to consider if they determine that they still want to have the employee return to work under a non-safety sensitive or a restricted duty status.
